Last week, Paxton Dawson Creative Co. teamed up with Girly Pop Golf to host Girlhood & Green Jackets — a Masters-themed girls golf social night at Dick's Sporting Goods House of Sport in Leawood, KS. The concept was simple: bring women who love golf (or are just getting into it) together for a fun, social evening with activities, personalized goods, and good energy.
Here's what the night looked like — and why events like this are some of our favorite work.
What the Night Included
Guests rotated through four main experiences throughout the evening:
- Live on-site personalization by PDC (more on that below)
- Golf simulator games — because you can't do a Masters theme without actually hitting a ball
- Friendship bracelet making — a nod to the community-first vibe Girly Pop Golf is known for
- A dirty soda bar & Master's themed food— the crowd favorite, honestly
The House of Sport location in Leawood was a natural fit — it's built for experiential moments, and having the golf simulators right there made the theme feel cohesive rather than forced.
The Personalization Station: What Guests Could Customize
PDC set up a live personalization station where guests could get different items customized on the spot from:
- Golf gloves — monogrammed with initials or names
- Water bottles — personalized and ready to take to the course
- Leather pouches — a clean, functional accessory that felt like a real keepsake
Live personalization works especially well at events like this because it gives guests something to do while they wait, something to talk about while it's being made, and something worth keeping at the end of the night. It's an activity and a takeaway in one.

Why Women's Golf Events Are Having a Moment
Women are one of the fastest-growing demographics in golf right now — and brands, venues, and communities are starting to create spaces that reflect that. Girly Pop Golf has been ahead of this curve, building a community around the idea that golf can be social, stylish, and genuinely fun without sacrificing the love of the game.
Events like Girlhood & Green Jackets work because they're not trying to be a clinic or a formal round. They're a low-pressure entry point for newer players and a fun night out for experienced ones. The personalization experience fits naturally into that format — it's interactive, it's social, and every guest leaves with something tangible.
